Dec. 8, 2016 – Ken Adams is offering in San Francisco, for the first time in the United States, an advanced seminar on the foundation of Ken’s approach to contract drafting—what he calls “the categories of contract language.”
In this intensive seminar, you will refine your ability to recognize the different kinds of meaning conveyed in contracts and how to use verb structures to convey them clearly, concisely, and consistently. The seminar will consist of a 30-question quiz, analysis of cutting-edge categories-of-contract-language issues, and discussion of verb structures used in a contract produced by a global company.
Attendees should either have attended Ken’s “Drafting Clearer Contracts” seminar or be familiar with the analysis of categories of contract language contained in Ken’s groundbreaking book, A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting. Participants might find it helpful to bring with them a copy of the book to consult during the seminar.
