Chief Technology Officer, Blank Rome LLP
Larry has been the chief technology officer at Blank Rome since 1998. He has worked in the information technology field for more than 50 years, holding management responsibility for more than 40 of those years. Since 1989, he has led the technology function in three different organizations and industries, including financial services, behavioral healthcare, and legal services.
At Blank Rome, Larry oversees a highly experienced and talented technology team that provides the Firm and clients with a robust technology infrastructure in support of the Firm's operations and continued growth, including secure extranets (dedicated websites devoted to specific clients) and collaboration tools to facilitate communications among all parties to a matter. Blank Rome is an industry leader in several areas of technology, ensuring the most cost-effective use of the latest technological developments.
Larry is a member of the Society for Information Management and of ILTA (International Legal Technology Association).
Larry has been consulting with arts organizations regarding technology issues since 1981. He is board president of the Wharton Esherick Museum in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and he also is on the board and treasurer of Allens Lane Art Center in Philadelphia's Mt. Airy community, and also the Philadelphia Art Alliance.
Larry graduated with his BS in commerce and engineering sciences from Drexel University, and from Fairfield University’s graduate program in banking management.
