Houman Shadab


Houman Shadab is a cofounder and the CEO of Clause and a prolific and influential expert legaltech, blockchain, and smart contracts. As a professor at New York Law School, he has testified before the federal government several times, including before the Commodity Futures Trading Commission on bitcoin and blockchain. Houman often speaks at high-level academic and practitioner events, including for The Economist magazine and at Stanford’s Future Law conference and the Internet of Things World. His work has been cited by a wide range of academics and governmental authorities, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Delaware Court of Chancery, and the U.S. Congressional Oversight Panel.
