National Hiring Partner - Associate Recruiting & Chair

Christina Martini is a Partner at DLA Piper, and is Chair of the Chicago Intellectual Property Practice Group. She is a member of the firm’s Executive and Policy Committees and sits on its Diversity and Inclusion National Steering Committee. She is also immediate past Chair of DLA Piper’s award-winning Global Women’s Leadership Summit.

Tina’s practice focuses on domestic and international trademark and copyright law, including domain name, Internet, social media, advertising, unfair competition and entertainment law. She has extensive experience in counseling, prosecution, enforcement, due diligence and licensing matters, and in assisting clients in protecting their intellectual property rights through litigation and dispute resolution. She has experience across a wide variety of sectors, and during her career served as on-loan intellectual property counsel to both Kraft and Monsanto for a year, where she gained valuable insight and experience.

Tina has received numerous professional accolades, including being recognized globally as a leading intellectual property attorney by a number of legal sources such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 United States, World Trademark Review 1000 and Illinois Super Lawyers, as well as being recognized by Managing Intellectual Property as one of the Top 250 Women in IP, and by BTI as a member of its Client Service All-Star Team.

Tina has demonstrated her commitment to the careers and lives of others through various leadership roles she has held over the years, including as DLA Piper’s Chicago office Hiring Partner, a member of the national steering committee for its women’s initiative and as an LGBT ombudsperson. She also sits on a number of boards.
